Overview:
Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight-worthiness requirements. Oversees training.
Responsibilities:
Technician maintains the following: Aircraft seats and canopy ejection systems, Gaseous O2, fire extinguishing, air conditioning, cockpit heat, pressurization, and ventilation
Remove and install Oxygen system valves, gauges, converters, and regulators.
Remove, install, inspect, and rig ejection seats, Cartridge Actuation Devices (CADS), shoulder harnesses, and lap belts.
Perform daily, pre- and post-flight, and periodic aircraft inspections.

Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul.
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience in egress, survival equipment, and/ or related aircraft systems
Experience installing/removing F-18 ejection seats
Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks in confined spaces or elevated positions
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications:
Fighter Structural Modification Experience
Ability to safely handle explosive devices and hazardous components
Fighter Electrical modification experience
