IT Release Analyst (London)

IT Release Analyst This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Delivery Analyst to step into a newly created role where process, governance, and influence matter more than hands-on technical delivery. You will take full ownership of release and delivery activity across a complex IT environment, sitting independently from Change, with the mandate to define, embed, and continuously improve how delivery is done. This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, accountability, and being the calm, trusted presence at the centre of delivery. Why this role stands out Ownership of a newly created, high-visibility role with genuine scope to shape how things are done Hands-on learning and exposure across multiple IT and business teams Clear progression potential as the function matures and evolves A senior, trusted position without the expectation to be technically hands-on Hybrid working with strong initial support to embed properly in the business What you will be responsible for Taking end-to-end ownership of delivery and release coordination across IT Documenting, formalising, and embedding clear delivery and release processes Acting as the central point of coordination between delivery, testing, and technical teams Ensuring governance, checkpoints, and sign-off are consistently met Identifying risks, dependencies, and issues early and escalating appropriately Gradually improving and optimising delivery practices over time Building strong working relationships across IT and the wider business Supporting audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives What we are looking for Strongly process-driven with exceptional attention to detail Confident working independently and taking ownership without close supervision Comfortable challenging constructively and influencing senior stakeholders Excellent communicator who can translate priorities without being technical Able to identify what really matters in a busy delivery environment Happy to learn, evolve the role, and grow with the function Background that fits well Experience in IT Service Delivery, Release, or Governance-focused roles Exposure to ITIL or structured service environments is beneficial Experience in legal or professional services or regulated environments is advantageous Someone ready to step up into a senior, ownership-led role Not suited to candidates looking to overhaul processes and make changes Long-term: hybrid working, typically two days per week in the office If you enjoy being the person who brings clarity, consistency, and confidence to delivery, this role offers the chance to truly make it your own.
