Supervises and coordinates all restaurant activities in accordance with Loews Hotels standards. Assists all managers in the Restaurants with supervising the restaurant/outlet to include; planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all restaurant activities to ensure efficient operation of department. Assists with training and scheduling of team members, monitors the host/hostess stand and service delivers to ensure proper service to guest.
Job Specific (90%):
Performs departmental opening and closing duties
Monitors and supervises department staff
Assists with the scheduling of restaurant staff according to established guidelines and forecasted needs
Represents the Restaurant Manager in his/her absence
Ensures adherence to departmental and Loews Hotels guidelines, policies and procedures
Personally supervises dining room and kitchen activities to ensure quality production/delivery of product/service
Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience
Supervises completion of required set up / preparation, at beginning of shift and clean up restocking at end of shift
Inspects all equipment prior to, during and at end of shift, reports any needed repairs to supervisor
Inventories supplies at beginning of shift, obtains supplies necessary to support forecasted level of business

Complies with Loews Hotels uniform and grooming guidelines
Qualification:
Experience working in food service and quick serve operations required.
One to three years of Starbucks/lead or comparable Coffee House experience preferred.
Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent English communications skills, written and verbal required.
Ability to work flexible schedule to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
