BettingJobs is working with a well established iGaming group seeking to onboard a highly experienced iGaming Group CFO.
The Group is a predominantly crypto-led iGaming business, operating online crypto casino and sports betting products alongside affiliate marketing, with digital assets at the core of its product and payments model.
The Group CFO is the senior financial authority across the entirety of the Group, responsible for all financial functions spanning the Group's regulated operating entities, with a primary base in europe, its offshore structures, and the digital asset and online casino businesses it facilitates and owns.
Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, including senior or C-level roles in multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction organisations.
- Prior experience in igaming, online betting, payments, or crypto/digital assets required.
- This is an exceptionally senior role and will be leading a current team of Head of Finance' across multiple group entities. Experience working at group level is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Group Planning
- Develop and own the Group's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across all entities.
- Advise the Board and CEO on financial performance, capital requirements, risk exposure, and strategic investment decisions.
Financial Control & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all Group entities.
- Ensure robust financial controls, reconciliation processes, and audit trails are in place and consistently applied.
- Maintain consolidated Group accounts that provide a clear and accurate picture of overall financial performance.
Multi-Entity & Multi-Jurisdiction Management
- Manage the financial operations of all regulated entities, with a primary base in Estonia, including local statutory compliance, tax obligations, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee the financial governance of offshore entities used for payment processing and igaming operations, ensuring structures are maintained correctly and remain fit for purpose.
- Monitor evolving tax legislation, transfer pricing requirements, and international financial regulations across all operating markets.
Digital Asset Treasury & Crypto Financial Management
- Own the Group's digital asset treasury strategy, including the management of crypto holdings, stablecoin positions, and fiat conversion processes.
- Oversee all institutional digital wallet infrastructure — ensuring wallets are correctly structured, access-controlled, reconciled, and auditable.
- Manage crypto payment flows across the online casino operations, including player deposits, withdrawals, and operational settlements.
Payment Processing Partnership
- Act as the primary financial counterpart to the Director of Payment Processing, ensuring full alignment on financial flows, settlement cycles, and reconciliation requirements.
Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Maintain tight oversight of Group cash flow across all entities, currencies, and digital asset positions.
Financial Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions, including MiCA, MLD5/6, and applicable gaming licence financial conditions.
- Maintain AML-compliant financial record-keeping and reporting processes across all entities, particularly in relation to crypto transactions.
Finance Function Leadership & Governance
- Build, lead, and develop the Group's finance team across all entities, ensuring appropriate coverage, skills, and succession.
- Act as the primary financial signatory and authorised representative across banking, regulatory, and corporate governance matters.
