In this role you will primarily focus on the Accessory & Footwear categories. You will work closely with a talented team across Design & Production, as well as close collaboration with external manufacturers, to ensure products move seamlessly from the sampling stage to production – meeting the company timelines, quality standards, and target margins. Key responsibilities • Take full ownership of the product development process, from initial concept to final delivery • Ensure all products meet By Malene Birger’s high standards of quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship • Collaborate closely with the Design team to translate creative vision into flawless, cost-conscious products • Drive innovative and sustainable sourcing strategies aligned with our brand values and supplier portfolio • Manage prototypes and samples, ensuring on-time delivery and perfect execution—leading fittings • Ensure all master data is accurate and complete—product excellence goes beyond the physical item • Maintain a strong cost focus while meeting margin targets—acting as a skilled negotiator • Support and understand the design process, contributing ideas and solutions along the way Skillset and attributes • Minimum 3 years of experience in product development within fashion • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work • Proven experience with sustainable sourcing and production • Hands-on, proactive, and collaborative—someone who takes ownership and gets things done • Deep understanding of the product lifecycle, timelines, and margin optimization A vase of flowers on a fireplace Description automatically generated Seite 2 von 2 • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to shifting priorities • Strong skills in data accuracy and PLM systems • Fluent in English (written and spoken) Join By Malene Birger and play a key role in shaping exceptional accessories and footwear collections.
