<p data-start="90" data-end="253"><strong data-start="90" data-end="109">The Opportunity</strong><br data-start="109" data-end="112" /> An award-winning, design-led planning and architecture consultancy is looking to appoint an Assistant Town Planner to join its Oxford studio.</p>
<p data-start="255" data-end="602">This well-established practice is recognised for its creative and collaborative approach, combining planning, architecture and urban design expertise to deliver high-quality development schemes across the UK. Their portfolio includes residential, mixed-use and regeneration projects, often with a strong emphasis on placemaking and design quality.</p>

<p data-start="781" data-end="951"><strong data-start="781" data-end="793">The Role</strong><br data-start="793" data-end="796" /> As an Assistant Town Planner, you will support senior colleagues across a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience throughout the planning process.</p>
<p data-start="953" data-end="984">Key responsibilities include:</p>

<li data-section-id="1t4d7ai" data-start="985" data-end="1071">Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals</li>
<li data-section-id="4ihk5x" data-start="1072" data-end="1124">Supporting site appraisals and planning research</li>
<li data-section-id="1ixpyp" data-start="1125" data-end="1170">Preparing planning statements and reports</li>
<li data-section-id="b0xhtj" data-start="1171" data-end="1231">Liaising with clients, local authorities and consultants</li>
<li data-section-id="uh6mc8" data-start="1232" data-end="1313">Working closely with in-house architects and designers on project development</li>
<li data-section-id="cseh34" data-start="1314" data-end="1380">Supporting project coordination across multidisciplinary teams</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="1382" data-end="1397"><strong data-start="1382" data-end="1395">About You</strong></p>
<ul data-start="1398" data-end="1752">
<li data-section-id="1m7zrgh" data-start="1398" data-end="1465">RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline</li>
<li data-section-id="xrge4t" data-start="1466" data-end="1538">Some relevant experience (placement year or previous role desirable)</li>
<li data-section-id="1imvb4c" data-start="1539" data-end="1600">Strong interest in design-led development and placemaking</li>
<li data-section-id="1xru70s" data-start="1601" data-end="1654">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li data-section-id="1oawzpd" data-start="1655" data-end="1709">Good organisational skills and attention to detail</li>
