Pay $30/hour
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret material requirements from MRP systems
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to request quotes and coordinate with suppliers
- Ability to place purchase orders and verify acknowledgements accurately
- Experience sourcing materials based on product descriptions
- Proficient in managing relationships with suppliers and handling discrepancies or returns
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical specifications is a plus
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- An associate degree or equivalent experience is a plus
- Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain roles is highly desirable
