About the Role

Sirius Staffing is seeking an NPI (New Product Introduction) Analyst position for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Whitsett, NC. Schedule: MON-FRI/SOME WEEKENDS 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM Summary:This position is responsible for managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from concept to production. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, supply chain, quality), creating and managing product documentation and manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance are met. This role also ensures product reliability through testing and simulations of end customer situations.  ResponsibilitiesSupport new products and act as a liaison between engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure project alignment.Follow the designed schedules, update them according to project evolution, and report to the senior NPI team.Control scope, schedule, resources, risks, changes, and costs of the projects.Plan and execute the NPI builds, production trials, and tests to validate new products and processes.Manage the transition from NPI to mass production, ensuring factory readiness.Co-work with the planning area to introduce new product in the line on the correct time.Control and support the FOT (First Order Test) and SOVP (First Order Testing).Proactively identify and escalate potential risks related to product changes, production, and supply chain (Risk management).Manage and maintain product documentation, ensure compliance with Engineering Changes (EC) procedures, and assist in creating quality plans and reports.Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and identify opportunities to reduce cost and cycle times (Continuous improvement).Deeply understand product structure, manufacturing process, and commodity validations.Lead continuous improvement projects.Comply with the standards and procedures contained in the Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, as well as other Lenovo standards, procedures, and policies.Take care of equipment and materials used in the performance of your duties, such as notebooks, cell phones, tools, backpacks, and others QualificationsHigh school diploma or technical certification.Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical) or Supply Chain Management or relevant fieldExperience: 2 to 3 years relevant experience.Experience in electronics or server hardware assembly preferred.Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interface.Ability to lift and handle components safely.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of tools like Ishikawa/Fishbone diagram, PDCA, FMEA, and 8D.Advanced knowledge of PMI and sampling plans for NPI activities.Advanced knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Advanced knowledge and certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Greenbelt).Basic knowledge of PowerBi for reporting and analysis.Product Structure: Advanced understanding of product instruction and design.
