About the Role

<p><strong>Job Title: Electro/Mechanical Assembler</strong>&nbsp;<br /><strong>Location: Melksham</strong> <br /><strong>Ongoing Contract</strong> <br /><strong>Pay rate: &pound;14.40 p/h</strong> <br /><strong>Hours: 06:30 &#8211; 15:00 Monday &#8211; Thursday and 06:30 &#8211; 12:00 on Friday&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Are you an experienced Electro/Mechanical Assembler immediately available, who is looking for their next contract opportunity? How would you like to work within a global company assisting in the fitting and assembly of safety critical products?</p> <p>My client are world leaders in rail braking systems for various blue-chip clients globally, and due to a busy orderbook they are looking to recruit skilled and semi-skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join their friendly and diverse team to work on a Panel build project.</p> <p><strong>Duties required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working from assembly instruction</li> <li>Replacement and repair of faulty parts</li> <li>Building and wiring of mechanical products to specifications</li> <li>Product testing using ATE equipment</li> </ul> <p>Person specification</p> <ul> <li>Qualified Solderer to IPC610 standard</li> <li>Experience within an electromechanical environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with a wide variety of hands-on tools&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to read an interpret engineering drawings</li> <li>Assembly/build background</li> <li>Proven experience of fault testing</li> </ul> <p>Immediate start is available for the right candidate, with the potential for a long-term ongoing contract. <br />This role would suit individuals with experience as a PCB Technician, Test Technician, or Electronics Engineer.</p>
