GTG Intern - Applied Machine Learning

We are seeking a talented and motivated Applied Machine Learning Intern to join our team, working at the intersection of ML Engineering and Data Science. The ideal candidate will have a passion for discovering insights from data, eagerness to learn new technologies, excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.   This role offers an exciting opportunity to conduct innovative research, develop cutting-edge machine learning models, and contribute to the productionization of ML solutions.  You Will: Conduct fundamental and innovative research in applied machine learning Assist in the productionization of ML models and solutions when required  Formulate approaches to solve complex problems using well-defined algorithms and data sources  Perform data exploration to uncover new questions or opportunities within your problem area  Propose and evaluate the applicability and limitations of data in various contexts  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing systems  You Have: Majors in an area of computing, e.g., Computer Science or Applied Math Has a strong foundation in ML, including transformer-based models Can code in Python and SQL Familiar with version control systems like Git Preferred Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MS or PhD) Expected to graduate in the year following the internship Practical experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision (CV) Has some industry experience
