Humanities Teacher Lincoln

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Humanities Teacher,  who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Lincoln area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in June 2026, with shortlisting currently underway, and the role is highly likely to extend into the new academic year.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in accordance with the agreed syllabus
• Prepare students for KS4 qualifications where applicable
• Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with school policies
• Promote inclusivity, tolerance and respect for diversity
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain a supportive and well-managed classroom environment
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote pupils’ wellbeing

Pre-requisites:

• UK secondary school teaching experience essential
• Qualified teacher status or equivalent
• Knowledge of agreed syllabus and exam specs
• Ability to lead thoughtful classroom discussion
