<p><strong>Permanent</strong></p> <p><strong>Customer Care Administrator</strong></p> <p><strong>Full Time – Monday to Friday</strong></p> <p><strong>£27,000 – £30,000 per annum</strong></p> <p><strong>Cambourne, Cambridge</strong></p> <p>Our client is seeking a Customer Care Administrator to join their modern offices in Cambourne, Cambridge.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established national organisation with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. The company recognises that its people are key to its success and is committed to fostering an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued, respected and supported.</p> <p>They welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements or reasonable adjustments that may support you in the recruitment process or within the role.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>The Customer Care Administrator plays a key role in delivering a comprehensive and professional administrative service to the Customer Care team.</p> <p>The successful candidate will support the Head of Customer Care and the wider team to ensure customers receive a consistently high standard of service in line with the organisation’s customer care standards.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><span role="presentation">Contribute positively to the level of service delivered to customers</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Provide efficient administrative support to the divisional Customer Care team</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Produce detailed reports and maintain departmental records and logs</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Manage the Customer Care inbox, ensuring enquiries are acknowledged within service level agreements (SLAs) and escalated where necessary</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Support the team with maintaining and updating internal systems (e.g. CRM systems)</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Work collaboratively with internal departments to coordinate ordering of materials, invoice processing and payments within agreed budgets</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Collate information relating to customer escalations to support effective review by the Head of Customer Care</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Monitor job resolution progress and support the team in ensuring service targets are met</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Liaise with customers, internal teams and external contacts to provide updates regarding defect resolution</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Carry out customer courtesy calls following contractor or operative appointments</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li><span role="presentation">Previous experience in an administrative role</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Experience within housebuilding, construction, property or a related industry would be beneficial</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Awareness of health and safety legislation is advantageous</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><span role="presentation">GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or equivalent</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and Attributes</strong></p> <ul> <li><span role="presentation">Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and external contacts</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Excellent organisational and administrative skills</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">High attention to detail with the ability to produce professional correspondence</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Proactive and motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems</span></li> <li><span role="presentation">Commitment to working in a respectful and inclusive environment</span></li> </ul> <p>If you require reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know how we can best support you.</p> <p>Altitude Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency and Employment Business.</p>
