A manufacturing business based in Market Weighton is currently recruiting for a Company Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, opportunity. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £40,000–£60,000, alongside the chance to play a key role in supporting financial performance within a growing, family-run organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Company Accountant will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports with supporting analysis
- Overseeing financial performance across projects
- Supporting the wider business with financial insight and analysis
- Working closely with the leadership team on business performance
- Maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
We are keen to speak with individuals who are currently working as a Company Accountant, Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, or in a similar finance role and are looking for the opportunity to progress within a supportive finance team.
To be successful in this Company Accountant opportunity, you must:
- Be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Have previous experience preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Be highly IT literate with strong Excel and QuickBooks skills
- Demonstrate strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Be confident communicating financial information to stakeholders across the business
