<li>Assess and determine a range of complex planning applications</li>
<li>Provide clear, balanced professional advice to applicants, stakeholders, and members</li>
<li>Prepare reports and recommendations in line with planning policy and legislation</li>
<li>Attend and present at planning committees, appeals, and hearings</li>
<li>Contribute to policy development and service improvement</li>
<li>Support, supervise, and mentor planning officers where required</li>
