Data Modeller – HIRING ASAP Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months initially Location: 1-2 days per week in London office, 3-4 days remote per week Rate: £550 per day inside IR35We are seeking a Data Modeller to design, develop, and maintain data models that support business and analytics needs. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to ensure data structures are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsTranslate business requirements into clear data structuresEnsure data models support reporting, analytics, and operational use casesCollaborate with data engineers on database and warehouse designDefine data standards, naming conventions, and best practicesMaintain data model documentation and metadataReview and optimize existing data models for performance and scalabilitySupport data governance and data quality initiativesRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)Data Vault 2.0 experienceStrong understanding of relational databases and SQLExperience with data modelling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner, or similar)Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas)Ability to work with business and technical stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
