<p><strong>HGV Technician Supervisor </strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Stanwell <br /> <strong>Shift Pattern:</strong> 4 on / 4 off (Day Shifts)<br /> <strong>Hours:</strong> 06:00 &#8211; 18:00 <br /> <strong>Pay:</strong> £27 &#8211; £28 per hour (depending on experience)<br /> <strong>Annual Leave:</strong> 20 days per year<br /> <br /><strong>The Role of the HGV Technician Supervisor</strong><br />We are seeking an experienced <strong>PSV Technician</strong> <strong>Supervisor / Chargehand</strong> to join a busy bus and coach engineering operation. This is a hands-on role working within a modern depot environment, maintaining and repairing a fleet of passenger service vehicles to a high standard of safety and compliance.<br />You will spend approximately <strong>80% of your time on tools and 20% on administrative duties</strong>, ensuring accurate records and job completion data are maintained.<br /> <br /><strong>Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician Supervisor </strong></p> <ul> <li>Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on buses and coaches</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults</li> <li>Work effectively within a structured shift pattern (4 on / 4 off)</li> <li>Complete relevant paperwork, job cards, and system updates</li> <li>Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity</li> <li>Support workshop operations as required</li> </ul> <p> <br /><strong>Experience Required of the HGV Technician Supervisor </strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience working on <strong>buses and coaches (PSV environment)</strong></li> <li>Experience using <strong>Freeway workshop management system</strong></li> <li>NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance</li> <li>IRTEC qualification (or equivalent industry certification)</li> <li>Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills (mechanical and electrical)</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team and independently</li> </ul> <p>If you are an experienced PSV Technician looking for a structured shift pattern and a strong engineering environment, apply today via Indeed or CV Library with your CV.</p>
