About the Role
Introduction
Our client is on the lookout for a creative Media Developer who is able to lead a team of Media Developers to design training courseware for the defence sector.
You will act as the Point of contact, ensuring media design processes are adhered to quality standards, and have knowledge of MOD process and procedures.
This role will be based in Hampshire, and is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on site.
Key responsibilities
Acting as the point of contact and taking accountability for all media tasks to create engaging and learning centric materials.
Supporting the Media team in during the production process whilst adhering to media and courseware standards.
Addressing any issues and challenges within the Media team to ensure smooth delivery of the design processes.
Working across cross functional teams to understand the objectives and aims to develop suitable and comprehensive solutions.
Provide guidance and support to ensure processes are followed in accordance to all defence standards and policies.
Connecting with stakeholders to build relations and provide suitable solutions.
Collaborate effectively with the Media team.
Supervise all Media course content/ documentation ensuring Defence Learning Environment is utilised effectively.
Supervise the local administration and maintenance of media course content/documentation onto the selected Defence Learning Environment Moodle ensuring the Defence Learning Environment is utilised to the best of its ability.
Identify solutions to meet customer requirements, balancing time, cost and quality, and define the solution at the appropriate level of detail.
Responsible for building effective customer relationships with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Skills & experience
Demonstrate leadership experience from a Learning and Development media role.
Demonstrate consolidated and in-depth experience of Training Design Media development.
Be an ambassador for learning, collaboration, and demonstrate best practices within the team.
Demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication and adept at building strong relationships that will support training transformation and continuous improvement.
Demonstrate strong leaderships skills that inspire and drive successful outcomes and supports team wellbeing and growth.
Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality and be able to plan and multitask.
Ability to interpret technical and non-technical information and apply it to visual media and interactions.
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
AGILE methodology and working practice.
ADDIE model and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
Training and/or Instructional Design.
Programme management tools and applications.
Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry Defence procedures and policies.
Understanding of Quality Assurance processes.
