We’re hiring a Research Director to join a leading, global healthcare consultancy specialising in primary market research. This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on designing and delivering high-impact insight programmes across international pharmaceutical clients, with a strong emphasis on advanced quantitative methodologies and hybrid research approaches.
Everything you need to know about the role
- Lead the design and delivery of complex primary market research studies (e.g. conjoint, demand studies, segmentation). Whilst the role is quant focused, a willingness to work across hybrid qual-quant methodologies will be advantageous
- Translate data into clear, strategic insights that influence client decision-making
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, driving repeat business and contributing to proposals/RFPs
- Support business growth through consultative account development
- Lead project teams, providing direction, problem-solving and ensuring high-quality delivery
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- Strong background in pharmaceutical primary market research from a competitor agency
- Proven experience leading advanced quantitative studies (e.g. conjoint, segmentation, demand)
- Ability to design and deliver strategic, insight-led primary research programmes
- Confident in client leadership and stakeholder management
- Commercial mindset with experience contributing to proposals and account growth
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
- Comfortable working across hybrid qual/quant methodologies
