About the Role
About the role: Justteachers are working with vibrant and inclusive primary school in Calderdale to appoint committed and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to start in September 2026. This is a long-term role and both full and part-time will be considered. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal stage in pupils’ education. The school provides a nurturing and forward-thinking environment where children are encouraged to thrive both academically and socially. Staff work collaboratively to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum, supported by strong leadership and a welcoming community. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons that support academic progress and personal development Prepare pupils for their transition to secondary school, including SATs readiness Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school Pre-requisites: Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks Passionate about education and committed to pupil success Skilled in building positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff Reflective, resilient, and eager to develop professionally Two school based references
