KS2 Teacher Preston

About the role:

Justteachers is recruiting a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a full time, short-term position starting in September 2026 at a welcoming primary school in the Preston area.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum that support pupil progress and attainment
• Use assessment effectively to identify learning gaps and inform future planning
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence
• Differentiate learning activities to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
• Support pupils in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to support ongoing progress
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and uphold school policies

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within KS2 in a UK primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current assessment practices
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote pupil progress
• Enhanced DBS clearance with experience supporting diverse learning needs
