Live-out Travelling Housekeeper/Cook in Kensington

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly discreet live-out Travelling Housekeeper/Cook to support a UHNW Principal across two private residences in London and Milan. When travelling, accommodation will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, proactive, and service-driven Housekeeper/Cook who can work independently, anticipate needs, and seamlessly manage two private homes while working alongside the Principal's Assistant.

The successful candidate will be based primarily in London, with approximately three months of the year spent travelling to Milan and other European destinations with the Principal. The Principal values privacy and personal space and is looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and professional, while maintaining appropriate boundaries at all times.

Cooking is a key aspect of the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality organic produce and preparing one healthy, nutritious main meal each day when the Principal is in residence.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running, use their initiative, and communicate confidently when necessary. This is a long-term opportunity for an exceptional Housekeeper/Cook seeking a varied and rewarding role supporting a UHNW Principal between London, Milan, and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Full housekeeping duties across both private residences

• Maintaining exceptionally high housekeeping standards throughout both properties

• Laundry care, ironing, and wardrobe management

• Grocery shopping, sourcing high-quality organic produce, and household provisioning

• Preparing one healthy, nutritious main meal per day when the Principal is in residence

• Packing and unpacking for travel

• Shared care of the Principal's small Italian Greyhound alongside the Principal's Assistant

• Ensuring both properties are fully prepared, organised, and guest-ready at all times

• Working collaboratively with the Principal's Assistant to ensure the smooth running of both residences

• Assisting with guests when required

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working within a private household, ideally supporting UHNW clients

• Exceptional housekeeping standards with strong cooking ability

• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently while also working effectively as part of a small team

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel regularly throughout the UK and Europe

• UK-based with a passport that permits unrestricted travel throughout Europe

• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy

• Comfortable sharing responsibility for the care of a small dog

• Able to settle quickly into different residences and routines

• Italian language skills would be advantageous but are not essential

• Warm and personable while maintaining professional boundaries

• Takes initiative and anticipates the Principal's needs

• Respectful of the Principal's privacy and personal space

Salary: £65K per annum

Location: London & Milan (London-based with approximately three months of annual travel throughout Milan and Europe) 

Accommodation: Provided when travelling

Start Date: Early September

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
