Sales Leader – K-12 Furnishings Requirements & Qualifications:
- College degree required
- Minimum 7 years of successful sales experience
- Proven experience selling furnishings and equipment into K-12 schools
- Demonstrated ability to sell on value rather than price
- Experience winning large project deals (not just transactional sales)
- Skilled at building relationships with principals and superintendents
- Experience working with architecture & design firms
- Ability to leverage K-12 associations and service agencies as networking partners
Sales Leader – K-12 Furnishings Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of field consultants focused on new K-12 buildouts and renovation projects
- Identify and secure high-value project opportunities ($150K+) through proactive relationship-building with school decision-makers
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, consistently exceeding ambitious booking goals
- Cultivate strong partnerships with A&D firms, K-12 associations, and service agencies to expand influence
- Guide the sales team in value-based selling strategies for large-scale projects
- Track and report on territory performance, ensuring alignment with company growth targets
