About the Role
PROJECT ENGINEER - CHARLESTON/BECKLEY, WV
E.L. Robinson Engineering (ELR) is seeking an experienced water/wastewater professional engineer with project management experience in water and wastewater treatment design for its Charleston and/or Beckley, WV offices.
Responsibilities:
Managing the planning, design, permitting and construction of water or wastewater treatment plants, in addition to storm water systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations
Preparation of proposals, reports, specifications, contract documents and correspondence
Coordination/communication with clients, regulators, and support staff to ensure that time and cost goals are met
Coordinating multi-disciplined design engineering teams
Mentoring junior-level staff
Qualifications:
Professional engineering registration (P.E.) in WV, registration in OH and KY is a plus
Minimum 10 years of experience, including design and construction phases services for water and wastewater treatment facilities
Project management experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ability to work effectively with clients, regulators/reviewers, peers and support staff)
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
