Culinary Development Chef (Product/Foodservice) Location: Wiltshire Customer-Facing Role Salary £55,000 We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global food manufacturer seeking an experienced Development Chef to join their UK Commercial Team. This is a strategic, customer-facing role supporting growth across key ingredient platforms including bakery, dairy alternatives, and pizza bases within the UK Foodservice and Retail Bakery channels. The Role Acting as the product specialist for core ingredient categories, you will work closely with Commercial and R&D teams while partnering directly with customers to develop commercially viable menu and meal solutions. This position requires strong culinary expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence decision-makers while building long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities Develop culinary applications across the full product portfolio Co-create innovative menu concepts with customer chefs Deliver engaging product demonstrations and inspiration sessions (in-person and virtual) Support development of customer briefs and go-to-market plans Translate global and local food trends into viable commercial solutions Provide technical and recipe-based problem solving Ensure new product concepts align with manufacturing feasibility and cost models Create recipe-based content, including photography and video where required Present product concepts internally and externally, including live-stream formats Build and maintain strong relationships within Foodservice and Retail Bakery accounts Work directly with customers 2–3 days per week Candidate Profile Essential: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Chef or Development Chef Experience within Foodservice or food manufacturing Strong culinary product development  Confident presenter with the ability to influence customers Desirable: Bakery category experience Degree (or equivalent) in a food-related discipline Process management experience Experience presenting via social media or live platforms This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Development Chef seeking a strategic, customer-led role within a global food organisation.
