About the role: Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of A Level Geography to join a welcoming and high-achieving setting in Wakefield from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality A Level Geography lessons, inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of both physical and human geography. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver outstanding A Level Geography lessons. Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively. Prepare students for examinations and coursework requirements. Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment. Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development. Uphold safeguarding, behaviour and school policies at all times. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Geography at A Level. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Enhanced DBS or the willingness to apply for one Two school-based references
