Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Builder/Installer. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking, cabinet assembly, and installation. This role involves reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling cabinets, and installing them in residential or commercial settings. Precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, laminate, and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Install cabinets, countertops, and other wood fixtures in kitchens, bathrooms, and custom spaces.
- Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finishing of cabinets and hardware.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, drills, and sanders.
- Perform on-site modifications and adjustments as needed.
- Work with clients, contractors, and team members to meet project requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or carpentry.
- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for installation roles).
