About the Role

A reputable housing provider in West London is seeking an experienced <strong>Neighbourhood Officer (fully site based)</strong> to join their housing operations team on a<strong> temporary basis. </strong><br><br><strong>Location:</strong> West London<br><strong>Rate:</strong> £29.49 per hour Umbrella / £23.00-23.07 PAYE <br> <strong>Contract:</strong> Temp <br> <strong>Working Pattern:</strong> 35 hours per week | 5 days office based <br> <strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediate Start Available<br> <strong>DBS:</strong> Clear DBS required<br><br>The ideal housing professional will be managing under 500 properties across multiple sites throughout West London. This opportunity would suit a highly capable housing professional with strong all-round <strong>tenancy and neighbourhood management experience</strong>, particularly within Housing Associations/Local Authority or community-focused providers.<br> This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can confidently <strong>manage a varied patch</strong>, <strong>take ownership of cases</strong> and collaborate with<strong> </strong>staff whilst delivering an excellent resident-focused service.<br><strong><strong><br>Key Responsibilities:</strong></strong><ul><li>Managing a designated patch of residential properties.</li><ul><li>Delivering end-to-end tenancy management services.</li><li>Conducting tenancy audits, home visits, and estate inspections.</li><li>Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases.</li><li>Managing tenancy breaches and enforcement action where required.</li><li>Supporting vulnerable residents and making appropriate safeguarding referrals.</li><li>Working closely with Income Officers to address rent arrears and tenancy sustainment issues.</li><li>Liaising with internal departments, contractors, local authorities, and external agencies.</li><li>Handling resident complaints and resolving complex housing issues.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Supporting void management and tenancy sign-up processes.</li><li>Maintaining accurate records and case management notes.</li></ul></ul><strong>Essential Experience: <br></strong><ul><li>Housing Officer / Neighbourhood Officer experience</li><ul><li>Social Housing, Local Authority or Housing Association background</li><li>ASB case management experience</li><li>Tenancy management and tenancy sustainment knowledge</li><li>Estate inspections and resident engagement</li><li>Knowledge of housing legislation and safeguarding</li><li><strong><em>Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within social housing</em></strong></li><li>Strong end-to-end housing management experience</li><li>Proven background managing:<ul><li>ASB cases</li><li>Rent arrears</li><li>Void management</li><li>Tenancy audits</li></ul></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Up-to-date knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management practice</li><ul><li>Experience working within a smaller Housing Association environment would be highly advantageous</li><li>Strong IT skills and experience using housing management systems</li></ul></ul><strong>Desirable</strong><ul><li>Level 3 Housing qualification or willingness to work towards</li><ul><li>CIH membership</li></ul></ul><em>You will be an organised, resilient and customer-focused housing professional capable of managing complex tenancy issues independently whilst contributing positively within a small collaborative team environment.</em><br><em> The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing tenancy sustainment, enforcement, resident engagement and operational performance across a busy neighbourhood patch.</em><br><br><br>If you are an <strong>Housing or Neighbourhood Officer</strong> looking for your next long-term opportunity within a respected housing organisation,<strong> Apply Today</strong>.
