We are in need of a Leasing Agent for a large apartment complex. The Leasing Agent plays a key role in attracting and retaining residents by providing exceptional service, conducting engaging property tours, and guiding applicants through the leasing process from start to finish.

Hours Sunday-Friday. 11am start on sundays. M-R 9am-6pm
- -Greet and engage prospective residents, providing professional tours of available apartments and community amenities.
- -Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries about apartment availability, pricing, and lease terms.
- -Present property features and benefits effectively to help prospective residents find their ideal home.
- -Assist applicants with rental applications, credit/background screenings, and lease paperwork in compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- -Maintain accurate and organized leasing records using property management software (e.g., Yardi,).
- -Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure move-ins, inspections, and work orders are completed smoothly.
- -Follow up with prospects and maintain consistent communication to maximize occupancy and reduce vacancy rates.
- -Support marketing efforts by updating online listings, social media posts, and community outreach materials, which may include assisting with social media presence.
- -Participate in resident events and help foster a positive community atmosphere as well as assist with corporate outreach.
- Assist with compliance with local ordinances
Qualifications-
- A minimum of 2 years experience in leasing, or real estate (property management experience strongly preferred)
- Strong sales ability to close leases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software- Yardi preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred.
- Friendly, professional, and motivated with a sales-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of rent controlled and Section 8 programs.
