Locum Educational Psychologist OpportunityLocation: Suffolk County Council (On-Site/Remote) Employer: Opus People Solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council. Suffolk County Council, in partnership with Opus People Solutions, is delighted to offer an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our dedicated award winning Psychology & Therapeutic Services team. We are seeking HCPC‑registered Educational Psychologists to:Deliver statutory psychological advice through a co‑produced Joint Assessment Meeting (JAM) modelWork in a child‑centred, strengths‑based way alongside schools and familiesContribute to collaborative, solution‑focused assessment and planningYou will be supported with:A clear psychological advice templatePractical JAM delivery materialsQuality assurance processesResponsive business and operational supportYou will bring:Current HCPC registrationRecent experience completing statutory advice as part of EHC needs assessmentsConfidence in facilitating multi‑professional, family‑inclusive meetingsAbility to produce high‑quality written psychological advice aligned with the SEND Code of PracticeWe offer:Induction and resources to support JAM deliveryClear process maps to support operational practice (including data protection and safeguarding)Efficient administrative supportSCC email and SharePoint access to enable safe and secure workingSupport from a values‑led, collaborative team If you are passionate about improving outcomes for children and looking for a rewarding locum role, we would love to hear from you.
