This is a newly created Ecommerce Analyst role offering the chance to take real ownership of insight in a fast-growing, product-led ecommerce business. You will play a key role in shaping how data is used to drive trading, acquisition and customer decisions, with visibility across senior stakeholders and the freedom to influence how analytics is done.

The Company
They are a direct-to-consumer ecommerce business with a strong digital footprint and an expanding product range. Ecommerce sits at the heart of their commercial strategy, supported by significant investment in paid media and digital channels. The business is highly data-aware and is now looking to strengthen insight by appointing a dedicated ecommerce analytics specialist.

The Role
You will act as the central owner of ecommerce reporting and analysis, moving the business from fragmented data to clear, actionable insight. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning ecommerce performance reporting and building scalable dashboards used across the business
  • Analysing trading performance, traffic, conversion and customer journeys
  • Evaluating paid media performance across key digital channels and supporting attribution understanding
  • Identifying opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and commercial outcomes
  • Translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for ecommerce, marketing and finance stakeholders
  • Proactively surfacing insights rather than responding to ad hoc requests

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in ecommerce or digital analytics
  • Confident working with tools such as GA4, SQL, BigQuery or Looker
  • Experience analysing acquisition performance, conversion and customer behaviour
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills with the confidence to influence non-technical stakeholders

The Role
You will join our Product Analytics team, working closely with product and engineering to improve how our products perform and evolve. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys getting deep into the data, spotting opportunities, and influencing product decisions.

You will take ownership of end to end product analysis, helping us improve feature quality, scale experimentation, and make faster, better informed product decisions through data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting deep dive analysis into product performance, user behaviour and feature usage
  • Identifying anomalies, diagnosing issues and understanding what is driving changes in metrics
  • Designing, analysing and scaling experimentation across key product areas
  • Evaluating A/B tests and clearly communicating outcomes and recommendations
  • Partnering with product teams to inform roadmap decisions and feature enhancements

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong product analytics background within a digital or consumer facing product environment
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience using Looker or similar BI tools
  • Proven experience with experimentation and A/B testing methodologies
  • Python for analysis is highly desirable
  • Exposure to dbt is beneficial but not essential
  • Confident communicator, able to translate complex analysis into clear insights
