About the Role

West Midlands, UK – Up to £65,000</strong></p>
<p>An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped, multi-site small animal practice in the West Midlands. Offering a varied caseload, excellent facilities, and a supportive team environment, this role is ideal for a vet who enjoys a mix of consults and routine surgery within a branch setting.</p>

<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Full-time (up to 40 hours) or part-time considered
<li>1 in 10 full weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
<li>1 in 5 Saturdays with time off in lieu
<li>Mix of consultations and routine surgical procedures
<li>Based across local branches with strong team support
<li>No out-of-hours (dedicated night team in place)

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care
<li>Carry out consultations, routine surgery, and dentistry
<li>Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
<li>Work collaboratively with RVNs, PCAs, and support teams
<li>Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
</ul>

<h3><strong>About the Practice</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Large, well-established small animal hospital group
<li>24-hour care with a dedicated OOH team
<li>Highly experienced team including multiple certificate holders
<li>Excellent facilities including CT, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental suite, and in-house lab
<li>Strong focus on clinical standards, development, and progression
<li>Supportive network with access to referral-level expertise
</ul>

<h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
<li>Confident in all areas of first opinion practice
<li>Comfortable with routine surgery and medicine
<li>Dentistry experience desirable
<li>Strong team player with excellent communication skills
</ul>
