<strong>Lead Production Technician</strong><br>Location:<strong> Oxford</strong><br>Salary: <strong>£35,000 Monday – Friday<br> </strong><br>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Production Technician to join a cutting-edge technology manufacturing environment within a global engineering business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee a small production team while remaining actively involved in the assembly, testing, and fault diagnosis of complex electro-mechanical products. You will take ownership of manufacturing order progression, ensuring products are built, tested, and delivered to the highest quality standards.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Lead and supervise a team of electro-mechanical assemblers</li><ul><li>Assign and coordinate workloads to meet production targets</li><li>Convert production plans into manufacturing orders with planning teams</li><li>Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems using technical documentation</li><li>Diagnose faults down to component level and manage repair/replacement</li><li>Oversee kitting and stock movement using ERP systems (NetSuite)</li><li>Liaise with engineering and test teams to ensure smooth production flow</li><li>Support stock control activities including stock takes and organisation</li><li>Manage and progress returned units (RMA process)</li><li>Contribute to product and process improvements through feedback to engineering</li></ul></ul><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><br><ul><li>Experience leading or supervising a production or technical team</li><ul><li>Strong background in electro-mechanical assembly and fault finding</li><li>Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite desirable)</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li><li>Organised, proactive, and team-focused approach</li><li>Clear communication skills, both written and verbal</li></ul></ul>If you feel you have the skillset we are looking for then please apply directly or call 01189598078
