Highly sociable & rewarding environment   The Position Our client is currently seeking an experienced and bright individual to join their close-knit and highly skilled audit and accounts team. Your responsibilities will include both audits and statutory accounts, with a greater emphasis on audit work. The ideal candidate will be a qualified professional with a strong interest in supporting the overall business, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyse and interpret data for clients.   Key Responsibilities Being fully responsible for Audit jobs from start to finish including planning, fieldwork and finalisation Allocating and reviewing work completed by junior staff members in the team and providing feedback to assist with their development Monitoring the progress of Audits including performance vs budget, identifying any problem areas and keeping management informed of progress Finalisation for jobs including clearing manager review points, producing an audit highlights memo, final analytical review, assessment of going concern and post balance sheet events, reconciliation of audit work performed and lead schedules to final accounts Building and maintaining good relationships with internal staff and external clients Liaising with managers and partners on client problems Corresponding with clients, both on-site and via telephone / email Developing and maintaining an excellent level of technical knowledge through appropriate courses and CPD
