Level 3 Nursery Assistant

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Assistant. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a thriving nursery with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, encouraging children to develop through play and exploration. Staff receive regular Early Years CPD and work within a highly supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support children’s learning through play-based activities
• Promote communication and language development
• Observe and record children’s progress
• Help maintain a safe and stimulating environment

Pre-requisites:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
