About the Role

<p>Our client is a highly successful manufacturer of components for the electrical power utilities industry, based in Memphis, TN. They are in need of an experienced Smart Grid Components Engineer to lead their design team.</p>

<p>Responsibilities:</p>
</p>
<p>Develop and create innovative product models.</p>
<p>Create and implement thorough test plans.</p>
<p>Design controller products with microprocessor-based controls for power distribution.</p>
<p>Create electronic products for smart grid solutions.</p>
<p>Contribute to packaging, documentation, and safety measures.</p>
<p>Perform quality inspections and approvals.</p>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p><em>Mandatory:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.</li>
<li>7 to 10 years of experience in electromechanical product design.</li>
<li>Experience with circuit board layout and production.</li>
<li>Knowledge of assembly design using various components.</li>
<li>Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling.</li>
<li>Understanding of regulatory standards.</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Preferred:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with simulation tools and thermal analysis.</li>
<li>Knowledge of EMI/EMC and thermal impact.</li>
<li>Experience in electronic equipment packaging design.</li>
</ul>
