Our client a food manufacturing company are looking to expand their technical and quality team with Technical Assistant, and/or a Technical Supervisor. This role is an excellent opportunity for a food manufacturing professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Technical Manager
- Addressing and managing customer inquiries related to technical aspects, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Implementing robust quality assurance measures
- Conducting regular technical and quality checks within the manufacturing facility to maintain adherence to established standards.
- Performing internal audits of documents and manufacturing protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of specifications for finished goods, raw materials, and internal processes.
- Monitoring and ensuring the technical and operational processes adhere to established standards for quality and safety.
- Investigating and resolving customer and supplier complaints, implementing corrective and preventative actions as needed.
- Training of production staff
- Supporting and promoting a positive food safety and quality culture within the organisation
