Procurement Intern

As the Procurement Intern, you will provide support and assistance to the Purchasing Department in carrying out various research, data management, document control, and administration of Purchasing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather and report component obsolescence data in company database
• Maintain good relations with vendors and internal departments
• Support cross-functional obsolescence process by initiating lifecycle plans and disposition activities
• Confer with suppliers to update company profiles within MRP system
• Maintain records, files, reference materials, and other documentation related to the Purchasing workflow
• Assist Purchasing team with other tasks as directed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration or related field
• U.S. Citizenship
• Proficient skills in computer including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the hourly rate for this role is $24/hr to $31/hr; however, Annapolis Micro Systems considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
