About the Role

This role sits at the heart of the firm’s owner-managed business offering and is designed for someone who thrives on strategic conversations rather than technical delivery. You will work closely with a portfolio of established private businesses, acting as a trusted commercial sounding board and helping owners make better-informed decisions about performance, growth, and long-term value.</span></p>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Take ownership of a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, acting as the primary commercial adviser</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Lead regular strategic review meetings, challenging performance and shaping future direction</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Translate financial information into clear, actionable commercial recommendations</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Support clients with high-impact decisions around growth, structure, investment, and profitability</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and grow your portfolio through value-led conversations</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Contribute to the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif">Requirements:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Experience advising or working closely with businesses of meaningful scale (£3m+ turnover)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Strong commercial finance background, gained in practice or industry</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and forming a clear point of view</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Ability to build credibility with business owners and senior stakeholders</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">Broad understanding of business taxation and financial reporting (without being compliance-focused)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt">ACA/ACCA qualification beneficial but not essential</span></li>
</ul>
