OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! Location: Sherwood, OR Pay: Starting at $18- $20/hr. DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday Shift: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Who We Are Our client has been a leader in the precision machining industry for over 40 years. Known for exceptional quality and value, they built their reputation in the semiconductor industry before expanding into the commercial, medical, aerospace, and defense sectors. They are looking to add a motivated Shipping & Packaging Associate to their growing team. What You'll Do We're looking for someone with shipping, material handling, and packaging experience who takes pride in accuracy and organization. This is a hands-on position supporting the shipping department by ensuring parts are packaged correctly, processed accurately, and shipped on time. Responsibilities include: Package parts and finished products to ensure safe, damage-free delivery Use an ERP system to receive inventory into stock, create packing slips, and look up parts Review job routers/travelers to verify parts and shipping requirements Prepare and palletize shipments for domestic and freight carriers Process shipments through FedEx, UPS, and other freight carriers Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area Support the warehouse and production teams with additional material handling duties What's in It for You?
