London based role (on site initially), 6 month contract initially (outside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Architect to help shape the next phase of a large-scale Salesforce transformation. Following the successful delivery of several major platform initiatives, the focus is now on optimising the existing Salesforce environment by improving data quality, refining integrations and establishing a scalable architecture that supports future growth and AI capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to assess the current platform, identify architectural improvements and implement best practices across data, integrations, security and platform operations.

Required Skills & Experience

•Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Salesforce Technical Architect or similar senior Salesforce architecture role.

•Strong expertise in Salesforce Data Architecture, including designing scalable data models, improving data quality and implementing robust deduplication strategies.

•Experience reviewing existing Salesforce environments, identifying architectural issues and delivering pragmatic, scalable improvements.

•Strong understanding of Salesforce Integration Architecture, including analysing existing integration patterns, troubleshooting data flows and recommending more efficient approaches for integrating internal and external systems.

•Experience working with complex customer data, ensuring accurate, governed and reliable information across the Salesforce platform.

•Knowledge of preparing Salesforce data and metadata to maximise AI capabilities, including experience with Salesforce AI technologies such as Agentforce or Einstein AI (or similar AI enablement initiatives).

•Experience implementing platform best practices around scalability, monitoring, observability and operational resilience.

•Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including permissions, access controls and platform governance.

•Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical teams and business users to capture requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.

•Experience working within enterprise Salesforce environments supporting multiple business functions and integrations.

Desirable Skills & Experience

•Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).

•Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce transformation or CRM modernisation programmes.

•Knowledge of enterprise data governance and master data management principles.

•Experience working with API-led integration architectures and middleware platforms.

•Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and Salesforce deployment best practices.

•Experience operating within fast-paced, agile product or technology environments.
