We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in Pampa, Texas. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment and quality control testing. 


Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm


** This position has a pay rate of $24/hr **


Responsibilities
- Operate treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge and effluent
- Observe variations in operating conditions
- Interpret meter and gauge readings
- Collect samples
- Maintain shift logs 
- Perform other duties as required


Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Drivers License
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
