Press Brake Operative

Press Brake Operator - Late Shift | £13.00-£16.00 per Hour + £1.00 Shift Allowance | Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company on a temp-to-perm basis, working a permanent Late Shift.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Thursday: 14:00 - 00:00
• Fridays Off
• Total: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate:

• £13.00-£16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Plus £1.00 per hour Late Shift Allowance

The Role:

You will be responsible for setting and operating a press brake machine to produce high-quality components in line with production requirements and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating a press brake machine independently
• Carrying out tool changes and machine adjustments
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
• Measuring, inspecting, and identifying finished components
• Working to production priorities set by the Team Leader
• Maintaining high quality and safety standards

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year's experience operating a press brake (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• Confident working independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable:

• Experience operating Amada press brake machines is ideal but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
