WIRING HARNESS ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

LOCATION

Decatur, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Full-time, W-2 employment

• Start Date: ASAP

If you can confidently read electrical schematics, understand wiring diagrams, and work with control panels and motherboards, you'll play a critical role in delivering reliable, high-quality products that power industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble custom wiring harnesses using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and work instructions.

• Cut, strip, crimp, label, terminate, and route wires while installing connectors, terminals, heat shrink tubing, and protective loom.

• Perform quality inspections, continuity testing, and basic functional testing to ensure assemblies meet engineering specifications.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and motherboard/control panel layouts to complete accurate assemblies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting production and quality standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical assembly drawings.

• Experience with electrical assembly, wiring harness assembly, panel wiring, automotive electrical systems, or similar manufacturing environments.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to use hand tools and assemble small electrical components accurately.

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Hand tools including wire cutters, crimpers, wire strippers, and electrical assembly tools.

• Small electrical components, connectors, terminals, wiring harnesses, and control boards/motherboards.

• Manufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing or sitting and repetitive hand movements.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience building wiring harnesses or industrial electrical assemblies.

• Familiarity with quality inspection and electrical testing procedures.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a production team.
