About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway. This high-achieving secondary school has built a strong reputation for academic excellence and positive student outcomes. Staff work within a supportive department structure and benefit from a culture of continuous improvement. Key Skills and Attributes: Supporting students with SEND across KS3 and KS4 lessons Delivering targeted interventions for individual learning needs Assisting students with EHCP targets and learning outcomes Promoting independence within the classroom environment Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies Recording progress and providing feedback to teaching staff Adapting classroom resources to support accessibility Working closely with SENCOs, teachers and external professionals Pre-requisites: Previous UK secondary school SEND experience Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND support strategies Strong behaviour management skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred If you are interested in this role, please apply via the form below
