Future Mind is an experienced team of specialists that creates tailor-made software for clients, from concept to deployment. With years of experience, we build mobile, web, and IoT applications for well-known Polish and international companies such as LPP (Sinsay, Reserved, Mohito), Jeronimo Martins (Hebe), Żabka (Żappka), SuperPharm, Dior, Generali, and Virgin, among many others.
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer — a responsible, available, and motivated individual interested in shift work who, like us, is developing their skills to take on more interesting and challenging tasks and projects. We have over one hundred specialists on board with valuable knowledge in software development and maintenance, from whom you can learn a lot.
Responsibilities of an IT Support Engineer include:
Daily monitoring of applications and system environments.
Monitoring, detecting, and reporting technical failures.
Diagnosing and performing repair procedures.
Implementing updates, modifying system configurations, applications, and support tools in cooperation with the DevOps team.
Documenting support systems, team processes, and procedures.
Automating processes (everything possible!).
Writing scripts and tests and continuously improving monitoring and ticket handling processes.
Ensuring the SLA is met for projects supported by the team.
We expect candidates to have:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT system maintenance (Level 2 or Level 3).
Experience working with alert, incident, and problem management systems (Jira Service Management, OpsGenie).
Familiarity with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, Sentry) and the ability to analyze system logs and draw appropriate conclusions to identify and solve problems.
The ability to understand application architecture and at least a basic knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Node.js.
Availability for shift work from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. Each team member works 40 hours per week.
Independence, discipline, and consistency in handling and completing tickets.
The ability to cooperate with developers, DevOps, and clients.
Knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Firebase) and databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, others).
The ability to work in a team and under time pressure.
Fluent English (both spoken and written) to allow for free communication.
