About the Role
<p>We are partnering with a global, forward-thinking organisation to appoint a standalone HR Manager for a key operational site in South Lanarkshire. This is a high-impact role where you will act as the senior HR presence on-site, partnering closely with leadership while aligning with a wider EMEA HR strategy.</p>
<p>This position offers a unique blend of operational delivery and strategic influence, with a strong emphasis on technology, innovation, and organisational change.</p>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as the trusted HR partner to the Site Director and leadership team, driving people strategy aligned to business objectives</li>
<li>Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent development</li>
<li>Serve as the link between local operations and the EMEA HR function</li>
<li>Lead all day-to-day HR activities including employee relations, performance management, absence management, and policy implementation</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal governance standards</li>
<li>Drive consistency and continuous improvement across HR processes</li>
<li>Lead and support site-level transformation initiatives, including restructuring, cultural change, and workforce optimisation</li>
<li>Champion change management frameworks to ensure effective adoption of new ways of working</li>
<li>Leverage HR systems and digital tools to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency</li>
<li>Support the implementation and optimisation of HR technologies across the site</li>
<li>Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends</li>
<li>Ensure alignment with key UK HR priorities including diversity & inclusion, wellbeing, employee engagement, and retention</li>
<li>Actively contribute to broader UK and EMEA HR projects</li>
</ul>
<p><b>About You</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in a standalone or a senior HR role within a global or complex/matrix organisation</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in change management and organisational transformation</li>
<li>Comfortable operating in a hands-on, operational environment while influencing at a strategic level</li>
<li>Experience working with HR technologies and data-driven decision-making</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence senior leaders</li>
<li>CIPD qualified preferred</li>
</ul>
