About the Role
We’re delighted to be assisting one of the UK’s most iconic 5-star country house hotels, known for its rich history, refined charm, and exceptional culinary standards. Their kitchen is led by a highly regarded Executive Chef, and they’re now on the lookout for a Head Pastry Chef to take the reins of their pastry section.
This is a brilliant opportunity to lead a talented pastry team and craft world-class desserts and pastries in a kitchen that champions creativity, seasonality, and precision.
Due to the location of the hotel, you will need your own mode of transport.

£42,194 per annum plus circa £7,500 service charge
Working 48 hours per week, 4 days on, 3 days off
29 days of annual leave, including bank holidays

Responsibilities as the Head Pastry Chef…
Leading the pastry kitchen, delivering elegant and exciting desserts across the hotel’s F&B outlets
Working closely with the Executive Head Chef to develop seasonal menus and creative pastry concepts
Managing and mentoring a small, passionate pastry team
Ensuring consistency, precision and quality across all pastry production
Upholding the highest standards of hygiene, presentation and organisation
Bringing flair, finesse, and genuine love for pastry to every service
This role would suit a creative, confident Head Pastry Chef (or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up) with a background in luxury hotels or fine dining environments.
