Stores Person / Van Driver Whiteley, Hampshire Full-time, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week) permanent Salary £23,132 - £25,000 doe Please note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Our client is a well-established marine equipment distributor based in Whiteley, near The Solent, supplying high-quality products to boat builders, marine engineers, chandleries, and trade customers across the UK. They pride themselves on reliability, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The Role They are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores Person / Van Driver to join their friendly and busy team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting warehouse operations and ensuring the smooth handling, storage, and delivery of goods. You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, preparing orders, and delivering products to local customers, while working closely with the warehouse and sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Receiving, checking, and dispatching goods within the warehouse Packing and preparing orders for shipment Assembling products manufactured on-site Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels Assisting customers at the trade counter Supporting the preparation and setup of exhibitions Delivering goods to local customers using a company van Skills & Experience Required Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or driving role Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills when dealing with customers and colleagues Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively A forklift licence or previous experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
