About the Role
Position Title: Engineering Technician Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Engineering Technician with our client located in Redmond, Washington. Job Responsibilities: Execute test plans provided by engineering. Develop detailed test plans and procedures based on high level guidelines from engineering. Record and organize data for further analysis. Rework circuit boards, cables and system prototypes as necessary. Build complex prototype cable assemblies for engineering use. Assist with prototype builds and troubleshoot as necessary Ensure that all safety procedures are observed during laboratory work. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Job Qualifications: Three years of relevant education or experience in engineering, engineering technology, design technology, or a related field (required) Fine pitch soldering and PCBA rework. Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, function generators, etc. Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with engineers and other employees of the organization. Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information. Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Completes some moderately repetitive tasks. Job Details: Job Type: Contract Pay Rate Range: $32/hr-$38/hr. Location: Redmond, WA. ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
