About the Role

ROLE SUMMARY: Sales of niche Printing Equipment, (not Capital Equipment / Machinery), to the Midlands Print Market. Product Training provided if required. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience of Selling Print Equipment and / or Consumables. Advantageous / Not Essential: Additional experience selling into the Labels and / or Envelopes sectors. CLIENT PROFILE: Our Client has been established for over 50 years and is known worldwide with regard to the quality and innovation of it’s Printing Equipment Technology. They are a globally recognized market leader in the production of high-quality products. The basis of their worldwide success is the continuous improvement of their Product & Service Offering. Although competitors offer other solutions our Client’s systems remain clearly superior due to their creative research dept. Role Requirements: Our Client is looking for a driven & enthusiastic Sales Executive to join their successful team. The successful candidate will be based in the Midlands and will have a proven track record of external sales, ideally gained within a business associated with the printing industry – technical knowledge gained within sales of label / commercial print equipment would be an advantage, but is not essential as full product training will be provided. Also required: Great organisational skills. A high standard of IT ability. Strong verbal & written communication and great negotiation skills. Excellent trouble-shooting skills and methodical approach to problem solving. A willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK (sales territory tbc), staying overnight when required. A full UK driving licence. Role Responsibilities: Plan and prioritise personal sales activities (such as visits, telephone calls, etc), effectively managing personal time, productivity and resources. Regularly update systems with information about prospective and actual visits (calendar and call reports). Maintain and develop existing accounts. Identify & convert opportunities for new business. Offer on-site training, trouble-shooting and technical support to customers. Liaise with sales colleagues & management on specific customer projects.
